For the single “Sciallà” by the Neapolitan duo Nu Genea, released in 2025 via Carosello Records, we were commissioned to collaborate on the video direction. We handled all the post-production graphics and created a psychedelic visual journey that translates the energy and unique style of the track. The video, directed by ourselves together with Fabio Gargano, Guido Lombardi and the duo themselves, is described as “a visual transformation of the liberating and vibrant message of ‘Sciallà’.”
The duo, composed of Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina, is renowned for their sound that fuses funk-disco, boogie, electronics and Mediterranean groove, starting from Naples and reaching an international audience.
In the video, we crafted sequences that alternate between dreamlike club environments, liberating dance moves, and experimental graphics—playing with animated typography and retro-futurist visual distortions. Our goal was to give form to the concept of “sciallà” (a Neapolitan equivalent of “take it easy”) through a visual dimension that is both sophisticated and pop.
