For Versace’s Fall/Winter 2020 show, held in Milan in February 2020, we collaborated with Urban Production to create visual content inspired by the textures of the collection. This show was notable for its innovative approach, presenting both men’s and women’s collections together, delivering a message of inclusivity and equality, as envisioned by Donatella Versace. The collection, featuring bold prints, metallic fabrics, and structured cuts, celebrated power and sensuality, with a strong emphasis on details like chainmail and sculpted forms.
Our visual contribution was projected onto an impressive double-sided LED wall, over 140 meters long, encircling the runway, creating an extraordinary scenic effect. At the start of the show, 20 cameras hidden under the LED wall captured the audience, gradually transforming these images into distorted iterations of Donatella Versace. By the end of the show, the bodies of the models were captured and distorted, recreating a magical mirror effect that reflected Versace's provocative and postmodern aesthetic.
Additionally, we designed visuals for a tunnel of LED walls and mirrors at the entrance, welcoming guests, and for the photocall, enhancing the immersive and interactive visual experience throughout the event.
